How to defeat Mancake, Ronin, or Shanta in a duel in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1

The easiest NPC to challenge in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 is Mancake, Ronin, or Shanta. Mancake is pretty easy to find since the area where he is located has grenades, and he tends to stay in enclosed areas.

On the map below, you can find the locations of the other two NPCs. Mancake is in the yellow polygon, Ronin is in the pink-purple square, and Shanta is in the light blue circle.

Mancake usually hangs out between the top and bottom floors of the lodge.

To defeat Mancake:

  • Grab some grenades near the staircase and wait for him to climb it.
  • He walks back and forth between the first floor and top floor. When he is at the staircase, challenge him to a duel, then get away quickly.
  • Start pelting him with grenades from then on because he won't leave that area.

    • You can take advantage of these enclosed spaces since Mancake does not try to find cover. After three grenades, he will only be one or two shots away from death. Use any of the weapons nearby to kill him.
