The Epicurean is an older Legendary weapon in Destiny 2 released with the Shadowkeep expansion during the Season of Opulence. It has since been sunset from the game with other older equipment from Seasons 1-9, and cannot be obtained anymore. However, there are rumors that the weapon may make a return in Xur, or as part of the Witch Queen expansion.
During the Season of Opulence, there was a run called Menagerie on Nessus. Competing this run offered players a chance at earning the Legendary Epicurean fusion rifle. Players could guarantee themselves the pull if they had a Rune of Excess in their first Chalice slot and a green Rune in the second slot.
