The latest Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 update brought forth the Week 5 Seasonal Quests to the game, and players have nine different challenges to complete. One of the Quests requires players to damage structures using Light Machine Guns.
After a recent hotfix update, Epic Games added the weapon to the game, and it can be now found as ground loot, in chests, and in supply drops. The Light Machine Gun was one of the strongest weapons in previous Seasons, which is why fans are eager to see how it performs against IO Tanks and Battle Buses in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2.
Why isn't the Light Machine Gun in Fortnite yet
Despite the LMG not being active in game, the "Destroy structures with a Light Machine Gun" challenge is currently enabled.

Weapons from previous Seasons like the MK Seven Assault Rifle and the Ranger Shotgun were recently added to the loot pool. Players can find these two guns as ground and chest loot. The developers have tweaked the Light Machine Gun this Season, and it is much more consistent in long-range fights.
Nevertheless, to complete the Week 5 Quest and destroy structures, players will simply need to shoot with the LMG at the opponent's builds. Players looking to complete the challenge in Zero Build mode can shoot down any of the original buildings and structures located at various POIs.
